I worked for Carol at Data General back in the late '80's. She was a warm, very genuine person and I admired her greatly. While I have not seen her in years, I can still summon at will the memory of her contagious laugh! My sympathies to her family and friends; even heaven will be a brighter place with Carol in residence. May she rest in peace.

When I joined Data General in the early '90s: Carol was one of first people I met and will always have very fond memories of working with her over the years. I was very sad to her of her passing and she will be missed.
Carol was highly regarded by all who knew her at DG as she was not only an excellent leader but also a wonderful person who truly cared about her colleagues.
My sincere sympathies and condolences to Carol's family.

I worked with Carol at EMC and I can truly say that she was one of the kindest and most genuine persons I have ever known. She was an inspiration to many women and provided a guiding hand that I deeply appreciated. Even though I havent seen her for the last few years, she was often in my thoughts and my thoughts are now with you Jim in this difficult time.

Carol was a special person and I enjoyed our close working relationship. She was bright, highly energized and a leader for her people in good times and difficult times. As a result, she was respected by everyone- subordinates, peers and superiors. My thoughts would be shared by everyone at Data General . Bill Cunningham
