Dennis was a gentle giant with a heart so big it filled every room he entered. The world will miss him. God bless Dennis and his family.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand

Dennis was big and strong and kind. You could see it and feel it the moment you met him. He showed care and concern for everybody. A chance meeting brought joy and warmth. It was a pleasure and blessing to be his friend, shake his hand, get a back slap and send-off. You always felt better for it. My sincere condolences to his family and other friends at our loss. He will be sorely missed. "May the Good Lord bless and keep him...and grant him Peace." Buff

Poncho, Gail and Carol, my sincere and deepest sorrow goes out to all of you. May your love and devotion for one another help you through this very difficult time.

One of the good guys gone ~ never to be forgotten

You are one of my "grow-up friends" that I remember so fondly. Remembering the fun we all had as kids, adolescents and as young adults brings warmth to my heart, a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes. You were a great friend to my whole family and loved by us all.

Dennis, I have known you my whole life and through all of it you were an honest, sincere, thoughtful and hard-working friend. Always willing to help in any way, any time. There are many, many fond memories of growing up together in Southborough and all the things we experienced as a close-knit group of kids in a small town. You'll be missed for your strength, your smile, your wisdom and your loyality. Life in Southborough just won't be the same, but thank you for the cherished memories. Rest in peace, Sully.

Condolences to Poncho, Gail and Carol.

Dennis, truly one of the best from Southborough. Gone far too young. I'll always remember you and all the great times. Though I've moved away I always looked forward to seeing your smile as I walked into the club...you'd always be the first to grab my hand for one of your famous handshakes. God blessed you with hand's like catcher's mitts and a huge heart to match! I'm gonna miss you buddie.. :-( Love Jack

Dennis,
When we first met years ago, you told me you were "friend to all". That is so true but you've always been a special friend to me (Keith and our kids too!) Bloody Marys on Sunday will never be the same. I will miss our rolls in the gutter with your wonderful laugh. Sorry you had to go to soon. Our deepest sympathy to your Family. Til we meet again. Love Donna, Keith, Chelsea, Dylan and Mckenzie

Dennis,
My Friend, where do I begin? First, to the Sullivan family, David, Gail, Carol, my deepest condolences. Dennis was a big man in so many ways, of course his heart was far larger then is body. He was always a gentleman, always had a smile and a joke.I had so many adventures with Dennis it makes my head spin.. and yes, look out for that backslap. We ran into each other "downtown", at Mauro's weekly. You will be more than missed. Another one of Southboro's Sons gone. I feel a huge sense of loss. Rest in Peace My Friend

Although it has been a few years since last we saw each other, I hold the years of friendship with Dennis close in my heart, a happy memory of happy times...the world would be a nicer place if we all took a lesson from the way Dennis lived, quietly, kindly and with a sense of humor about it all. Dennis, you were and are loved by all of us who were lucky enough to have been counted as your friends.....♥ Reni

Farewell my old Friend. You have laid down your Burden, crossed over the River and now will "rest beneath the shade of the trees". We worked together for ffteen years at D.G. and I will always look back on those days with a smile and a laugh; what great times they were! Even though we haven''''t seen each other for many years, I have always considered you a close friend. I know that when I reach that Distant Shore I will see your smiling face there to welcome me....see you on the other side.
