She was also a sales person at Brigham’s, a women’s specialty store and at Hall Galleries at Steigers in Springfield.     In her later years Florence volunteered at the Library of Frederick Harris School where she could convey to young people her great passion of reading. She also enjoyed antiquing, interior decorating, and rides along Rte 6A on the Cape.

She is survived by her children, Joanne Buckley and her husband Ken of Titusville, FL; Bruce G. Ledoux and his wife Alda of Westborough; Peter W. Ledoux and his wife Patricia of Clayton, NY; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by  her son David Michael who died in 1957 and her sister Jean Colley.
